Dmitry Kovalev is a writer-director and multi-disciplinary filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. He has an extensive experience in virtual production, visual effects and camera work. Among the TV shows he had worked on are Your Honor, The Lincoln Lawyer, Station 19 and Our Flag Means Death, as well as films Insidious 5, M3gan, White Noise, Wolf Man.

Before becoming a full-time filmmaker, Dmitry had a decade-long career in advertising as an agency creative, working on campaigns for brands like PepsiCo, KFC, Braun, Cheetos, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, L'Oréal and others.

He has a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration from University of Hertfordshire (UK), and an MFA in Film & TV Production from USC School of Cinematic Arts.
